Grand Rapids Diamonds Black, Fenton Fastpitch win tournament titles!!!

Great weather, great tournament play!  Congratulations to the Grand Rapids Diamonds Black 14U team, and to the Fenton Fastpitch 12U team, for capturing the Softball Spectacular championship in their respective divisions!

In the 14U championship game, the Diamonds scored an early run and made it stand up against an excellent Moran Iron Works Vulcans team, winning 1-0.

The Fastpitch team broke out the hot bats early and often and cruised to a victory over the Grand Rapids Diamonds 12U, who made a very nice run to the championship game.

Congratulations, ladies, on your performances!

Our 2010 Traverse City Softball Spectacular tournament was blessed by great weather and terrific play by many teams!  While we're still in the planning stages, the 2011 version of the Softball Spectacular tournament is tentatively planned for the second weekend in July.  Check back periodically for updates.
