Traverse City Waves Softball
Michigan Warriors, Macomb Explosion, Petoskey Blaze Win Tournament Titles!!!
Traverse City was filled with sun, vacationers, beachgoers, festival enthusiasts, warm weather and lots of good youth softball players who participated in the sixth Traverse City Softball Spectacular!
A 16U group was added for the first time, and the Petoskey Blaze captured that division's championship with a hard-fought victory over the Grand Rapids Diamonds Black.
In the 14U division, the Macomb Explosion parlayed excellent pitching, great defense and timely hitting into a tournament title, outlasting the Moran Iron Works Vulcans Black team in final game.
The Michigan Warriors were the class of the 12U field, marching to victory in the championship game against the Petoskey Blaze.
THANK YOU to all of the teams--players and their families--who made the trip to Traverse City for the weekend! We hope you had fun and enjoyed a great summer softball weekend.

Softball Spectacular Tournament
The 2012 Traverse City Softball Spectacular tournament is scheduled for the weekend of July 6th through 8th, and is open to teams in the 12U, 14U and 16U divisions. As of January 4th there are 2 spots left in 12U.. Download a team registration form here.
