Vulcans, Jets Win Tournament Titles
Congratulations to the Moran Iron Works Vulcans 14U team and the MBS Jets Yellow 12U team for their tournament championships in 2009. The Vulcans--seeded at the bottom of the bracket coming into Sunday--ran the table with four straight victories to capture the 14U division title. The Jets--a team comprised solely of 11-year-olds--edged the Grand Rapids Blaze by one run, coming from behind for a thrilling last-inning win. Great job ladies! Thank you to all of the families who attended our Northern Classic tournament!

Welcome
The Northern Classic is a tournament for 12U, 14U and in 2010 we have added a 16U bracket. The tournament is held at SEAS Middle School, site of some of the nicest playing fields in northern Michigan. SEAS Middle School is located five minutes from Lake Michigan and about 12 minutes southeast of downtown Traverse City.
Our 2010 Northern Classic tournament is scheduled for June 25-27, 2010. Registration forms can be downloaded (see below) now.
